The table lamp is available with a white or black marble base and in a small version with a height of 35cm and a big version with a height of 45 cm.
The table lamp has a cord length of 180 cm and a on/off button that can also dimm the light. The large version uses a E27 bulb and the small version uses a E14 bulb.
 The designer behind Kizu from New Works Lars Tornøe is the designer behind the Kizu table lamp. Lars Tornøe is from Norway and works with lamp, furniture and accesories design. He graduated from the Berger Academy of Art & Design in 2006 and has since been named the best designer of Norway. Through the years, Lars Tornøe has had exhibitions all the way from Stockholm in Sweden to Seoul in South Korea. The collaboration between New Works and Lars Tornøe has definitely been successful. The Kizu table lamp has been recognised for its simple yet sculptural design and it has made its way in to many private homes.  The story behind New Works' Kizu Table Lamp Lars Tornøe wanted to create a sculptural and simple lamp which resulted in the Kizu table lamp. It was therefore important to him that the point where the shade rests on the body of the lamp is as small as possible. This means that it looks like the shade soars above the marble base.
It was also important to the designer, that the veins of the marble were visible to bring out the life of the marble. Therefore, all the marble bases of the Kizu lamps are unique and vary in colour and visibility of the veins. This is part of the DNA of the lamp.
